Bas joined Valyoux as a partner in 2024. Here, he primarily focuses on wealth accumulation in the broadest sense of the word. This includes determining strategic asset allocation, implementing investment strategies, and analyzing corresponding wealth reports.
Bas studied economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Afterward, he started as an options trader at IMC on the Amsterdam stock exchange. Subsequently, Bas held various financial positions at a number of renowned trading houses and also worked in London and Sydney.
Bas lives with his wife and two sons in Berlicum. In his free time, Bas is an avid tennis player (two-time world champion with the Dutch Veterans Team).
